If you opted to have plastic surgery, what part of the body would you go under the knife for?:

What's in your bag?

A woman's mind is her purse

These satchels are tutu much! (Sorry. Couldn’t resist.) The dancers of the Lynn Terra Ballet Company of Auburn provide a vivid glimpse into their lives. They’re in rehearsal for their annual Nutcracker production December 13 and 14 at the Opelika Center for the Performing Arts.

Shelby Holley
Ballerina (Auburn)
Shelby doesn’t stop with pointe shoes. She also has jazz shoes and ballet shoes. Also in her bag, an iPod, the book, Breaking Dawn, by Stephenie Meyer, bobby pins, hair spray, hair bands, tights, and water.
Elisabeth Adkins
Senior contemporary dancer (Auburn)
Get ready for the best bag item ever. Do you see those animal print things that look like teeny-tiny underpants? Those are Capezio Foot Undies, and they go between your toes and over the ball of the foot like a thong. Also in Elisabeth’s bag: jazz shoes, scissors, moleskin and corn wraps, leotard, eyelashes, gold ribbon, CDs, Pepto Bismol, an iPod, and car keys.
Allison Savrda
Ballerina (Auburn)
How many women carry six pairs of shoes? Here’s one. Allison also carries leg warmers, toe pads, Sweet Feet foot deodorizer, a makeup template, a fan, a Nutcracker T-shirt, baby powder, and a CD of La Esmeralda.
Katie Cannady
Senior company member (LaGrange, Georgia)
It’s all about the feet: Green slippers, two pair of pointe shoes, Band-aids, and toe tape signal this isn’t just any purse. Add the ballet skirts and dancing shorts, and you can see why Katie might need the energy bar and water. Also inside: hair accessories and a hairbrush. What? No lip-gloss?
