HO HO HO

Here I go again! My Christmas season is off to a wild start. I never go with my husband to the Midyear meeting he has been attending since he graduated, because it is his busiest meeting and it's silly to spend the money on a plane ticket and not see him the entire time we are wherever the meeting ends up being. This year was an exception because it was in Las Vegas and it just happened my sister was getting married there at the very same time. Two of her children live in Vegas and it was really a convenient situation for me. The problem turned out that my shopping time, usually the week Bernie goes to Midyear, was a total bust! Las Vegas is NOT the place to Christmas shop. This week, the week before Christmas week, is my time to cook. I have several parties to cook for and even a cookie exchange this year...cookies are my favorite! I'm planning to fruit up my oatmeal cookie with bits of apricot and cranberry add walnuts instead of the usual pecans and ice them. Oh, and I'm going to do a pumpkin, white chocolate cookie I've been wanting to try.
